Mango Chili, Nexus Bangsar South

A couple of new eateries have popped up at Nexus Bangsar recently, one of them being Mango Chili. The name alone kinda describes the cuisine served: THAI. The interior sets you up for a cosy dining experience with purple walls and brightly colored chairs and pillows to complement.
Love the effort they've put into decorating this place.
One of their charitable initiatives - Nice to know that they're looking out for the less fortunate and everyone who dines here is able to contribute in a way.
I had their Thai Iced Lime Tea and requested that they omit the sugar because I had a feeling it would be diabetes inducing. Tasted like a slightly richer version of Teh Limau Ais and surprisingly pleasant without sugar.
Thai Iced Lime Tea - RM3
Onto dinner.. I had to try their Tom Yum Chicken Soup clearly because I love me some good spicy Tom Yum. The soup was spicy enough and not in an overwhelming make-you-sweat kinda way. Nice sour punch too.
Tom Yum Chicken - RM12.90
Jon decided to play safe with the spice and go with their Pad Thai. We both found it to be a little sweet and when we told the waiter, she mentioned that Pad Thai is usually supposed to be quite sweet - errr alright.
Chicken Pad Thai - RM13.90
Was quite fun to toss it about - probably one of the few times you can take playing with your food a little far :P

Overall a decent meal. Not the best Thai food, but not too bad either if you need a quick fix. Also gotta commend the friendly staff who kept making sure we were good. Thumbs up for awesome customer service.
