Rondaevoo, Ativo Plaza, Bandar Sri Damansara

For the longest time, the most exciting eatery to grace Bandar Sri Damansara (BSD) was our beloved drive-through McDonald's. Sure, places like Papa Rich and Dominos soon followed suit, but our hood was clearly lacking in unique f&b places. So, when Ativo Plaza finally opened, I think most BSD residents did a tiny happy dance on the inside. Along with some popular chains like Papa John's and Old Town White Coffee, a few interesting eateries started to populate this much-awaited commercial area. One of the is Rondaevoo, a cafe focused on serving good coffee and healthy eats based on western and Asian cuisines. I decided to check out this place one night, during a catch-up session with Fanzi, who's recently become quite the coffee addict himself.

Parking is pretty easy here, either risk it and park by the roadside (like we did) or park in the basement for a small fee.

Inside, you'll find a cosy interior with diner-styled seating and a cool coffee bar area. Damn I wish this place was around during my uni days. Seems like the perfect place to do assignments.

Rondaevoo uses fair-trade Puro coffee, that's organic as well :)

Fanzi's Cappuccino which he said was good, but a little smaller in portion than expected.

Onto dinner, Fanzi went for the Classic Chicken Burger, with roasted potatoes and salad on the side. Definitely a healthier version of a chicken burger without compromising on flavour.

My Tuna Mayo Wrap, served with the same sides in a whole wheat tortilla wrap. I loved the dressing on the salad - not quite sure what it was, but there was a hint of soy sauce in there. The roasted potatoes were tasty as well.

The filling was generous with lots of tuna goodness packed into the roll.

Fresh, organic and tasty. That pretty much sums up my first impression of the food here. Doesn't hurt that it seems to be a not-bad coffee joint as well. Will definitely be back, especially on my fat-days when I'm craving less guilty food.
